The Role
An exciting opportunity for a Town Planner to join an experienced team and take their career to the senior level, playing a key role in shaping Perth’s urban future. You'll work on a range of statutory and strategic projects, liaise directly with clients and authorities, and contribute to delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, consultancy setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and lodge statutory planning applications, Development Assessments, and provide strategic planning advice
- Coordinate with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple projects
- Support and guide junior staff as a collaborative team member
- Contribute to business development through strong client engagement
- Attend and present at panels, hearings, and community forums where needed
- Degree-qualified in Urban and Regional Planning
- Strong understanding of WA planning policies and legislation
- 3+ years of experience in urban or statutory planning
- Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities across a diverse project load
- Passionate about delivering meaningful outcomes in a consultancy setting
