PROJECT MANAGER
An exciting opportunity for a commercially astute Project Manager interested in joining a nationally recognised, award-winning commercial construction company in Perth. Our client has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across government, education, and private sectors.
We are seeking someone with experience delivering commercial building projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from pre-construction to completion, with project values up to $50 million.
Key Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including:
- Project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and document management.
- Subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
- Monitoring budgets and providing detailed financial reports.
- Developing and maintaining construction programs using Microsoft Project.
- Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor and supplier claims.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, architects, and internal teams.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Contributing to buildability reviews, compliance solutions, and value management.
What You Bring
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Construction Management or Project Management
- Experience as a Project Manager with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 commercial builder, delivering commerical projects up to $50M in value.
- Prior experience as a Contracts Administrator within the commercial sector.
- Strong skills in cost management, contract administration, and reporting.
- Subcontractor procurement and scope packaging expertise.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Local WA-based experience is highly desirable
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
