Description of the job
You will be joining a well-known and established global company where you will represent them solely in Australia. Your main responsibility will be to sell a variety of their wireless and mobile products, specifically to the Oil and Gas, Mining, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and other process industries.
You will report to the APAC leader and collaborate closely with management and team members to create a sales strategy focused on the Australian market. As the product expert, your main goal is to increase sales revenue by finding new prospects and building strong partnerships. You will also aim to grow existing accounts. Your approach will prioritize long-term client relationships over short-term sales. Additionally, you will be responsible for predicting future revenue as you strengthen these client connections.
To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:
- Proven success in selling industrial products with a solid track record.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in process industries with a focus on selling solutions
- Familiarity with the Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Mining and Chemical sectors is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Technical qualifications and certifications are advantageous.
- A background in Electrical, Engineering and industrial products is highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of Wireless, IoT and RFID technologies; prior experience with these products is beneficial.
- A "Can Do". You possess a resilient "Hunter" mentality in Sales, diligently pursuing every opportunity and forging robust parentships with clients.
