People & Culture Advisor

In this generalist role, you'll support employment relations and Work Health Safety through implementation of people-focused initiatives, policies, and compliance across our business while playing a key part in maintaining a positive workplace culture. What you’ll be doing
- Provide expert, practical advice on employee relations matters including performance management, conduct concerns, and dispute resolution.
- Lead or support internal investigations with professionalism and discretion.
- Coordinate Workers’ Compensation claims and manage Return-to-Work programs.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and communication of WHS policies, audits, and training.
- Support and deliver employee development and training programs that build capability and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion wellbeing initiatives that promote safety in the workplace.
- Partner with leaders and managers to deliver the People and Culture strategy.
- Assist in compiling People & Culture reports, analytics, and ensuring legislative and internal compliance.
- Promote engagement, and positive workplace culture across teams.
- Experience in a Human Resources generalist role, ideally in hospitality or similar environment.
- Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology or related field.
- Sound knowledge of employment law, work health safety and relevant legislation, with a proven ability to apply this knowledge to ensure compliance and drive decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous case management experience desirable.
- Confident in handling confidential matters with professionalism and empathy.
