TEN Recruitment is partnering with an emerging WA gold mining company to appoint an Underground Mining Engineer. This is a key site-based role offering long-term growth within a forward-thinking team, as the company scales up operations toward mid-tier status.
You'll contribute across mine planning, optimisation, and site performance while benefiting from a clear progression pathway and strong professional development incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed mine plans
- Optimise development, drill and blast activities, and dewatering
- Lead safety, quality, and performance reporting across operations
- Provide guidance to site personnel and mentor junior engineers
- Drive continuous improvement and support regulatory compliance
- Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in underground mining (gold essential)
- Strong knowledge of WA mining regulations and site safety standards
- Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills
- Full Australian working rights
- $150K + Super + 7.5–15% bonus potential
- Additional $8K annual retention bonus
- 8/6 FIFO from Perth with 12 hours paid on both travel days
- Up to 18 weeks paid parental leave
