About the Company
A privately owned Australian manufacturing group supplying engineered wear‑solutions and fabricated products to the mining and resources sector. The business is in a strong growth phase and is looking to add experienced support to its operations team.
About the RoleThe Production Administration Officer will provide accurate and efficient administrative support to the operations and production teams, allowing them to focus on growth and efficiency improvements.
This role will be the key link between production, planning and accounts, ensuring that all workflows and reporting requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities-
Manage production dispatches, including sales and factory order tasks and supply plan updates

Create job packs for production and print liner labels for jobs and stocktaking

Laminate drawings for jobs and ensure compliance with production standards

Generate and manage ship notices (including BHP Ariba system) and book transport as required

Collate invoicing information in job packs and scan/file once invoiced

Receipt production deliveries and check against delivery dockets

Collect invoices daily for accounts processing

Manage asset and maintenance registers and schedule fleet servicing

Schedule weekly meetings with operations departments, record actions and follow up

Prepare weekly reports on work centre performance, job costings, attendance and timekeeping

Provide general administrative support to operations as required

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is highly desirable

Experience using the OPTO production/ERP system will be highly advantageous

Confident and organised with the ability to coordinate others to meet deadlines

Strong data entry, numeracy and analytical skills

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Effective communicator across all levels, with the ability to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders
