Contracts & Procurement / Commercial – Senior Administrator, Lead, Manager Levels - Major Capital Projects & Programs in the Infrastructure, Renewable Energy & Natural Resources Sectors

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experienced in contributing to, or leading project contracting strategy development, including risk identification and management
• Experience leading market engagement, tendering, negotiation, contractor selection and other pre-award activities for significant scopes of work
• Experience in administering or leading teams in post award contract activities, including claims and closeout
• Good working knowledge of AS and Defence contract forms, ECI and head contracts
• Ability to ‘deploy’ into client organisations, or act as the trusted adviser on particular issues or client team capability uplift.
• Experience in drafting, improving or operating in alignment to best practice contracts management lifecycle governance
• Ability to maintain collaborative relationships within commercial dynamics
• Being an active leader in the team and developing expansion opportunities for a growing business.

About you:

To be considered you need to have 5 - 15 years relevant experience working in a commercial or contracts role in the capital projects sector. In particular you should be able to demonstrate:

• Contracts experience in a project-based, infrastructure, natural resources or other industrial setting
• Tertiary qualification(s) in law, engineering, commerce or business management, including procurement and/or contract management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contract interfaces
• Superior stakeholder and client management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong business acumen and critical thinking able to work autonomously.
• Strong self-motivation, looking to drive your career.
