Scaffolders / Riggers – SINO FIFO Project 2:1 Roster | $59.02/hr Flat + Super |
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Scaffolders and Riggers to join an upcoming FIFO project at SINO Iron, Cape Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled tradespeople seeking reliable FIFO work with excellent camp conditions and long-term potential.
Roster & Pay:
- 2:1 FIFO Roster: 7 days on day shift, 7 days on night shift, followed by 7 days RnR
- 12-hour shifts
- $59.02/hr flat rate paid on all hours (including super)
- FIFO from Perth with excellent camp facilities
Join a professional maintenance team performing scaffolding and rigging duties supporting fixed plant maintenance and shutdown activities. This is a mask-fit site requiring candidates to be clean-shaven for respirator fit testing. Candidates must be safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable working in a remote mining environment.
Key Duties Include:
- Erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures
- Rigging and lifting operations to support maintenance tasks
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and site procedures
- Collaborating with maintenance crews to meet project deadlines
- Relevant Scaffolding or Rigging qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- White Card (Construction Induction) – essential
- Working at Heights – essential
- Confined Space Entry – essential
- Gas Test Atmospheres – essential
- Fire Attack Firefighting (FAFF) – preferred
- Medical clearance and respirator fit test (clean-shaven)
- Strong safety focus with proven ability to work in a high-risk environment
