At our client's company, you will reinvent their core product and establish a UI/UX framework from the ground up. You will drive the entire user experience, embed best-practice UX and UI design into delivery projects, and demonstrate the benefits of design utilising a highly collaborative, pragmatic, and co-design approach.
An important responsibility and opportunity is to ensure consistent and high-quality UX and UI outputs.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Designing and crafting an exceptional user experience for global customers.
- Setting up UI/UX frameworks and standards from the ground up.
- Leading design system governance, integrating accessibility and standards for workflows.
- Assessing UX opportunities, gathering technical requirements and wireframing the process.
- Leading UI/UX integration to improve platform consistency and accessibility standards.
- Coordinating and facilitating workshops and meetings with product owners and other delivery squad members.
What you'll bring to the role:
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior UX/UI Lead, or System design role.
- Proven experience in embedding design within an organisation, or have worked with legacy products and thrive when there is high ambiguity.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-first, high-impact design outcomes.
- Experience working with a Design system and being involved with its formation would be great!
- Hands-on expertise with Figma and other design and prototyping tools.
- Strong stakeholder management skills – comfortable influencing at the executive level.
- Basic understanding of modern front-end stacks, including CSS, HTML, etc
- Previous experience in training and guiding junior team members or those less experienced in Figma.
