The Company
We’re partnering with a well-established organisation in the mining and resources sector, based in Perth’s eastern suburbs. They have an immediate need for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team on a short-term basis.
The Role
You will be responsible for end-to-end accounts receivable functions, with a strong focus on accuracy, process compliance, and effective debtor management. Key duties include:
- Processing AR invoices and receipts
- Maintaining accurate client and job records in Pronto
- Job costing and preparing related reports
- Reconciling general ledger and debtor accounts
- Monitoring debtor limits, managing overdue accounts, and recommending adjustments
- Administering PPSA/PPSR registrations and debtor insurance
- Preparing monthly debtor reports
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Maintaining and updating AR procedures
- Assisting with other finance tasks as required
The Applicant
To be successful, you will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounts receivable
- Strong working knowledge of Pronto (or other large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
