an Operations Analyst - Platform Management to join our global
Operations and Administration team. In this role, you will play a key
part in monitoring global technology systems and services, managing
routine processes, and administering core applications that keep our
business running smoothly. What you'll do You'll take ownership of a variety of responsibilities, including: - Monitor the health, performance and reliability of all major
global platform elements and when necessary, make recommendations
for improvements.
- Administer monitoring software to provide alerts on servers,
infrastructure, links and server room environmentals.
- Administer the firm's document management system, including
document deletions, restores, imports and exports, and user account maintenance.
- Ensure all scheduled operational routines complete normally and,
where necessary, remediate problems with operational routines.
- Track and log all significant events including scheduled changes,
operational routine problems, provider errors/outages, and major
system failures.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and team lead during problem
management/resolution processes - Major Incidents.
- Work closely with others in the IT department to coordinate and
facilitate problem resolution.
- Communicate and provide regular updates of issues to IT Management
and IT Support.
- Participate in yearly business continuity tests.
- Provide administration for other applications as required.
About the team Our global Operations and Administration team is strategically
distributed across multiple locations to ensure near 24/7 support,
seamless issue handoffs, and continuous monitoring. As such, this role
can be based in our Perth or Sydney office,
supporting critical coverage hours. What you'll bring - Minimum 5 years' experience working with PC hardware and peripherals.
- Ideally, a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Strong knowledge of networking hardware, including servers,
network backup systems, printers, scanners, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications for Windows Network Operating
and back-office products.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate
effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and
multitask effectively.
- A genuine passion for learning, taking responsibility, and
delivering solutions.
