About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Mechanical/Electrical Trade Assistant to join our client's team for major works at major power station project. This is a hands-on role supporting mechanical and electrical activities in a live operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with mechanical and electrical tasks including installation, maintenance, and decommissioning works.
- Operate and work safely with WAH (Working at Heights), Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift equipment.
- Support supervised gas fitting activities.
- Perform forklift operations, HR driving, and basic rigging & dogging tasks.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols in a noisy, high-risk environment.
- Relevant tickets and licenses for WAH, EWP/Scissor Lift, Forklift, HR, and basic rigging & dogging.
- Experience in power station or industrial projects preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Competitive rates: $47/hour
- Long-term project with consistent roster
